no only difference is that in extempore we don't know the topic at which we have to speak

Extempore is a type of public speaking where you will be giving out a speech or maybe elaborating on a specific topic.

However, there are no notes that are prepared beforehand and one require to talk about something given to them at that time.

Whereas public speaking is different since a person has a chance to be prepared and can have noted as well.
