Much of climate is tropical with south relatively temperate.

Largest river in Brazil and second longest in world is Amazon and this is the main reason for rarer plains in Brazil(extensive).

It is due to the fact that in addition to the Andes mountain ranges, Brazil's Central Highlands cover a large central plateau that is known as Planalto Central.

The rest of the country is made up of sedimentary basins. The largest sedimentary basin is formed by the Amazon and all its tributaries. Out of the total country's area, 41% has fewer than 200 meters of height.

The coastal zone of Brazil is lined with thousands of miles of pristine beaches that are marked with dunes, mangroves and lagoons along with many coral reefs. The country also has an extensive river systems consisting of eight key drainage basins.

However, all of them finally meet the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore, from the account, one can see that extensive plains are rare in Brazil.
