Instrisic motivation includes learning ,social contact, curiosity ,respect and extrinsic motivation includes salary ,awards promotion appreciation etc which not inbuild our knowledge but feel with jealousy greed and rather than gaining knowledge we concentrate on outer thinks like money and all.

Extrinsic motivation sometimes may kill intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation, in which an athlete undertakes and maintains an activity as a result of external pull attraction factors inducement, etc., can sometimes kill intrinsic motivation. When the prizes, etc. become insufficient, the athlete loses interest and leaves the sport.
