'eye lens is held by the ligaments' is the statement given in NCERT. as ligaments' connect bone to bone, are there any bone in eye?? or else why the word ligament is mentioned there?

eye lens is holded by cilliary muscles which contracts when you go in a brighter area and gets decontracted when we are in a dark area
