Answer: Domain :R, set of all real numbers

Range: (- infinity,3/4]

Solution: y is well defined for every real value of x, so domain of this function is set of real numbers

Range: x^2>=0

-x^2 <= 0

3/4-x^2 <= 3/4

y<= 3/4

so y is always less than or equal to 3/4.

So, Range is (- infinity, 3/4]

Note: <= is less than or eqal to sign

and >= is greater than or eqal to sign
