F=2yi+3x^2j calculate the work done if the particle is displaced from (1,2)to (3,9)

Hey friend here is the solution for this question.....

workdone = change \: in \: potential <br />\: <br />energy

potential energy at point (1,2)

 = f.s \\ = (2yi + 3 {x}^{2} j).(1i + 2j) \\ = 2y + 6 {x}^{2}

potential energy at point (3,9)

 = f.s \\ = (2yi + 3 {x}^{2}j).(3i + 9j) \\ = 6y + 27 {x}^{2}

so....

workdone = (6y + 27 {x}^{2}) - (2y + 6 {x}^{2})

 = 4y + 21 {x}^{2}
