shireenburney: Xf 18,40,105,9p,88,52= 303+9p

shireenburney: Mean is equal to sum of all observations by total number of observations

shireenburney: Mean(x)=xf by f

shireenburney: 7.5=303+9p by 41 + p

shireenburney: Cross multiply

shireenburney: You will get 307.5+7.5p=303+9p

shireenburney: After transposition. 307.5-303=9p-7.5p

shireenburney: 4.5=1.5p

shireenburney: P= 4.5/1.5=3
