Area of Carpet

Area of Carpet = Length Of Carpet × Breadth of Carpet

Area of Carpet

= Length Of Carpet × Breadth of Carpet

→ Area of Carpet

= (Length of Room - 1m -1m) × (Breadth of Room - 1m - 1m)

→ Area of Carpet

= (16m - 1m -1m) × (12m - 1m - 1m)

→ Area of Carpet = 14m × 10m

Area of Carpet = 140m²

The Cost of Carpet = 400/

The Total Cost Of Carpet = 140m² × 400/

→ The Total Cost Of Carpet = 140m² × ₹400/m²

The Total Cost Of Carpet = 56000
