Explanation:

BeF2 HAS A CENTRAL ATOM WITH NO LONE PAIR OF ELECTRONS.

H2O HAS 2 LONE PAIR OF ELECTRONS AND HAS ANGULAR OR BEND SHAPE WHILE BEF2 IS LINEAR

Explanation of linear molecule:

Be or Beryllium has two electrons on the outer most shell but oxygen has 6 electron in the outer most shell. Hence, on sharing two electrons, in oxygen, there are two pairs of vacant electrons.

These electrons are known as lone pair of electrons repel each other. But, in the case of beryllium and there is no such repulsion. Hence, the compound is linear but in water the lone pain repulsion causes it to be angular in molecular structure.
