Given:-

  • Resistance of Resistor ,R = 82 ohms

  • Power ,P = 0.25 W

To Find:-

  • Safe Voltage ,V

  • Safe Current ,I

Solution:-

Safe Voltage !!

Using this Formula

• P = V²/R

Where,

P is the power

V is the Voltage

R is the Resistance

Substitute the value we get

→ 0.25 = V²/82

→ V² = 0.25 ×82

→ V² = 20.5

→ V = √20.5

→ V = 4.52 v

Therefore, the safe Voltage through Resistor is 4.52 volts.

Safe Current!!

Using this Formula

• P = VI

substitute the value we get

→ 0.25 = 4.52 × I

→ I = 0.25/4.52

→ I = 0.055 A

Therefore ,the safe Current through the resistor is 0.055 Ampere.

=> P = V²/R

=> 0.25 = V²/82

=> V² = 0.25 ×82

=> V² = 20.5

=> V = √20.5

=> V = 4.52 v

Voltage is 4.52 v

And

=> P = VI

=> 0.25 = 4.52 × I

=> I = 0.25/4.52

=> I = 0.055 A

Current is 0.055 A
