Given that f(x)=cosx and g(x)=3x ^2

Given f:R→R and g:R→R,

∴f o g:R→R and g o f:R→R

f o g(x)=f(g(x))=f(3x ^2 )=cos(3x ^2 )

g o f(x)=g(f(x))=g(cosx)=3cos ^2 x

Since cos(3x ^2 )

=3cos ^2x.

∴g o f=f o g
