Given :- An angle measures 135º .
To Find :- what angle should be added to it to convert it into a straight angle.
Concept used :-
- A straight angle is equal to 180° .
Solution :-
Let us assume that, the angle should be added in 135° to convert it into a straight angle is equal to x° .
So,
→ 135° + x° = Straight angle
→ 135° + x° = 180°
→ x° = 180° - 135°
→ x° = 45° (Ans.)
Verification :-
→ 135° + 45° = Straight angle
→ 180° = Straight angle .
Therefore, the required angle is equal to 45° .
