● For a given body, we find that Force applied in a body is directly proportional to mass.

● Also for a given body force applied is directly proportional to the acceleration produced.


COMBINING THE ABOVE STATEMENTS, WE GET :

F varises ma
F = k×ma (where k is a constant).

Now, if k is 1, then m=1 , a=1 and overall the force exerted is 1 N.
So, F = 1×ma => F = ma [PROVED]
