Given : f N= 10

∑x= 60

∑x² =1000

To Find : value of standard  deviation

(a) 8 (b) 12 (c) 6 (d) None of these​

Solution:

SD  = √( ∑x² / N  - (∑x/N)²  )

=> SD = √(1000 /10  - (60/10)² )

=>  SD = √(100  - 6² )

=>  SD = √(100  -36 )

=>  SD = √64

=>   SD = 8

value of standard  deviation will be 8
