Answer:

)the food that you eat and the way that it affects your health

)Soil is composed of both biotic—living and once-living things, like plants and insects—and abiotic materials—nonliving factors, like minerals, water, and air. Soil contains air, water, and minerals as well as plant and animal matter, both living and dead. These soil components fall into two categories.

)a storm with loud noises and flashes of light in the sky (thunder and lightning)

)a substance made from dead leaves and plants, that you put into the ground to help plants grow

)Most soils have three major horizons (A, B, C) and some have an organic horizon (O). The horizons are: O -(humus or organic) Mostly organic matter such as decomposing leaves. The O horizon is thin in some soils, thick in others, and not present at all in others.

)Things which are bad conductors of heat are used as insulators. In same occasions it is important (1) to prevent heat loss from a hot body (2) to prevent heat from entering cold body. 3. Fur, wool, cotton wool, cork, feathers, sawdust, trapped air in birds' feathers etc.

)Anaerobic respiration is respiration using electron acceptors other than molecular oxygen. Although oxygen is not the final electron acceptor, the process still uses a respiratory electron transport chain.

)A molecular formula is a representation of a molecule that uses chemical symbols to indicate the types of atoms followed by subscripts to show the number of atoms of each type in the molecule. (A subscript is used only when more than one atom of a given type is present.)

)Saliva is produced in and secreted from salivary glands. The basic secretory units of salivary glands are clusters of cells called an acini. These cells secrete a fluid that contains water, electrolytes, mucus and enzymes, all of which flow out of the acinus into collecting ducts.
