Given Points are a (2,2) b (0,-2)

Midpoint of ab is (1,0)

Slope of ab is

 \frac{ - 2 - 2}{0 - 2}  =   \frac{ - 4}{ - 2}  = 2

Slope of Perpendicular Bisector is

  = \frac{ - 1}{slope \: of \: ab}  \\  =  \frac{  -1}{2}

Equation of Perpendicular Bisector is

y - 0 = ( \frac{ - 1}{2} )(x - 1) \\ 2y =  - x + 1 \\ x + 2y - 1 = 0

Hence equation of Perpendicular Bisector is

x + 2y - 1 = 0

Hope it helped.....
