the gravitational force is given by F = Gm₁m₂/r²

the question says that

m₁' = m₁ + m₁*50/100

       m₁ + m₁/2

      = 3m₁/2

m₂' = m₂ - m₂*50/100

      = m₂ - m₂/2

       = m₂/2

now the new force F' = G m₁'m₂'/r²

                               F' = G (3m₁/2)(m₂/2)/r²

                               F' = (3/4) G m₁m₂/r²

                              F' = 3/4 F
