f(x)=2x³ how to find f'(x)
given ans. is 6(2x)²=24x²

rajesh139: f(x)=2x^3 then d f(x)/dx=d(2x^3)/dx
rajesh139: f'(x)=2*3x^2/2
rajesh139: f'(x)=3x^2
shamim9: bro it doesn't match with the given ans. on the book
rajesh139: what are options given in text book

f(x) = 2x³

If f(x) = x^n = nx^n-1 .

f'(x) = 2 * 3 ( x ^ 3 - 1 ) = 6x² .

Hope helped!

shamim9: but it didn't match the given answer on the book .... anyway thanks for the help
rajesh139: ok
rajesh139: 3x^2
shamim9: given answer is 6(2x)² = 24x²
siddhartharao77: I think its wrong answer @Shamim9.
rajesh139: the correct answer is f'(x)=3x^2
shamim9: probably......

Given f(x) = 2x^3

      f'(x) = \frac{d}{dx} x^3

     = 2 *  3x^{3 - 1}

    6x^2.

Hope this helps!
