Answer:

we have given f(x) = 3x-4 and g(f(x))= x^2-6x+8

put x= (f(x)+4)/3 in x^2-6x+8

we get , let f(x) = y

then x=(y+4)/3

g(y)= (y+4)^2/9 -6((y+4)/3)+8

on solving we get

g(y) = (y^2-10y+16)/9

so g(x) = (x^2-10x+16)/9
