f(x) = ax -3x+14x-3 is divided by g(x) 3x-1 using remainder theoram​

Now,

f(x) = ax - 3x + 14x - 3 \\ \\  a \times  \frac{1}{3}  - 3 \times  \frac{1}{3} + 14 \times  \frac{1}{3}   - 3 \\  \\  \frac{a}{3}  - 1 +  \frac{14}{3}  - 3 \\  \\  \frac{a - 3 + 14 - 9}{3}  \\  \\  \frac{a - 2}{3}  = 0 \\ \\  a - 2 = 0 \\  \\ a = 2
