Answer:

It has not been mentioned about what p(t) and t are. One cannot assume that p(t) is population/other function of certain aspect in real life situation or t is time/other parameter on which this function depends.

So just consider p(t) as function of variable t pertaining to cartesian coordinate system.

p(t) will correspond to Y coordinate and t will correspond to X coordinate for ordered pair (t , p(t) ).

Given,

p(t) =2800 + 2100t

=> p'(t) = 2100=slope =constant.

Therefore p(t) has linear relationship with t.

i.e.

p(t)=2800+2100t is a line having slope of 2100.

So the domain of the given function will be set of all real values ,R because there is no any value of t in the set R at which the function is undefined.

=> t ∈ R or t ∈ (- ∞ , + ∞ ).

And the range of the function or the values of the function p(t) can also be any real value,R because there is no any value of p(t) in the set R at which it is undefined.

=> p(t) ∈ R or p(t) ∈ (- ∞ , + ∞ ).

I hope it helps.
