F(x) = x^2 + 1 then f(f(x))=(f(x))^2+1=(x^2 + 1)^2+1=x^4+2x^2+1+1=x^4+2x^2+2

f(x)= x^2 + 1

f(f(x))= f ( x^2 + 1)


=(x²+1)²+1

=x⁴+1+2x²+1

=x⁴+2x²+2

therefore f(f(x)) =x⁴+2x²+2
