Function f(x)

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

We have given a function f(x)= x²-6x+12

we have to find f(4) now ,compare it with f(x) we find x=4.

So, we have to find f(x) at x=4

At x=4,just put the given X's value into the f(x)

Note : Any change in f(x) will cause a change in the function.

Now ,our function is f(x) and we have to find f(4) now compare the coefficient of f(x) with f(4) , we find x=4.

So,we have to find the value of f(x) at x=4.

at x= 4

=>f(x)=x²-6x+12

=>f(4)= (4)²-6(4)+12

=>f(4)=16-24+12

=>f(4)= -8+12

=>f(4)=4

Therefore ,f(4) is 4

Extra information=>

➥The above function is a quadratic equation as highest power is 1.

➥f(x)=y here ,f is the function and x is an input which gives output say 'y'.

➥We can find infinite number of output of f(x) by putting infinite number of values into f(x).
