f(x) = x-x²+x³-x⁴

So,

f'(x) = 1-2x+3x²-4x³

if the question is,

f(x) = x-x²+x³-4x

then,

f'(x) = 1-2x+3x²-x-4

f'(x) = 3x²-3x-3
