GIVEN

 \sf{f(x, y)  =  {y}^{10}  - 3xy}

TO DETERMINE

 \sf{f_y(x, y) }

EVALUATION

Here it is given that

 \sf{f(x, y)  =  {y}^{10}  - 3xy}

Differentiating both sides partially with respect to x we get

 \sf{f_x(x, y)  =   - 3y}

Differentiating both sides partially with respect to y we get

 \sf{f_y(x, y)  =  10{y}^{9}  - 3x}

Hence

 \sf{f_y(x, y)  =  10{y}^{9}  - 3x}
