f you untie a blown balloon in the downward direction, what will happen and why?

Answer: It will go up.

Explanation: This is because, firstly on applying Newton's 3rd law, (every action has an equal or opposite reaction), since the air particles are applying pressure downwards, on the particles in the atmosphere, the baloon will rise up.

As the air escapes from the balloon, it exerts a force on the ground and the air outside of the balloon. According to Newton's Third Law of Motion, as the gas is released from the balloon and pushes against the outside air, the outside air pushes back. As a result, the rocket is propelled forward by the opposing force.
