We all are aware of the existing electronic voting machine where the user has to press a button to cast the vote. But these machines have been criticized for tempering since the beginning. So the government is planning to introduce a fingerprint based voting machine where users can cast the vote based on his/her fingerprint impression. This system will not only remove the possibility of duplicate votes but also prevent any kind of manipulation.
The conventional system for voting is ballot paper and Electronic voting machine too, has many loopholes flaws and trust issues. Indian constitution gives the citizens the power to elect their own leader so in order to eradicate malpractice of the above methods of voting, we have designed an advanced system by using arduino and Fingerprint module. In this system, a person has to register a fingerprint ID with the system which will be centrally stored in arduino. There is LCD attached to it in order to display the name of the candidate for the voter has cast the vote. In case user wants to delete the stored ID then user can delete the same using DEL option on display. It is flexible and trusted system. It is being used by many universities and institutions to opt for student leader nowadays!

भारत देश अपने नागरिकों को अपना नेता चुनने का सामान अधिकार देता है। अभी तक वोटिंग बैलेट पेपर और ईविएम मशीनों द्वारा की जाती थीं। लेकिन आज के युग में राजनितिक तत्वों एवं देश नागरिकों का विश्वास इन पर से उठ चुका है। वोटिंग की क्रिया प्रणाली में राजनीति रणनीति के कई घोटाले सामने आ रहे हैं। इन सब को मद्दे नज़र रखते हुए फिंगरप्रिंट वोटिंग मशीन का आविष्कार किया गया है जिसके अंतर्गत वोटर को अपनी फिंगरप्रिंट आईडी सिस्टम में रजिस्टर होती है एवं ऑर्डिंनो मोड्यूल में केंद्रीय सेव हो जाती है। यह विश्वास जनक सिस्टम हैं। इसके डेटा में फेर बदल करना नामुमकिन है।
इस सिस्टम में साथ ही एल सी डी जुड़ी होती है जिसपे नागरिक ने किस प्रत्याशी को वोट किया है उसका नाम डिस्प्ले हो जाता है। यूजर अगर किसी जमा आईडी को डीलिट कर के दूसरी रजिस्टर करना चाहे तो डिलीट के विकल्प में जा कर कर सकता है । ये विकल्प डिस्प्ले स्क्रीन पर उपलब्ध होता है।
ये सिस्टम सरल उपयोगी एवम् विश्वास जनक है। आजकल कई विश्विद्यालयों में छात्र नेता चुनने में उपयोग भी किया जा रहा है।
