x^8-1

=(x^4)^2-1

=(x^4-1)(x^4+1)

=(x^2-1)(x^2+1)(x^4+1)

=(x+1)(x-1)(x^2+1)(x^4+1)

Hope it helps

Saumya123: but the answer is different ans. (x-1)(x+1)(x^2+1)(x^2+1-√2x)(x^2+1+√2x)
Anonymous: ans is wrong

Hi.

x^8 - 1\\\\= (x^4)^2 - 1^2\\\\= (x^4+1)(x^4 -1)\\\\= (x^4+1)((x^2)^2 - 1^2)\\\\= (x^4+1)(x^2+1)(x^2 - 1)\\\\= (x^4+1)(x^2+1)(x^2 - 1^2)\\\\= \boxed{(x^4+1)(x^2+1)(x+1)(x-1)}

Hope it helps.
