(i) निश्चित परिमाणवाचक:-

जो विशेषण शब्द किसी वस्तु की निश्चित मात्रा अथवा माप-तौल का बोध कराते हैं, वे निश्चित परिमाणवाचक विशेषण कहलाते है।

जैसे- 'दो सेर' घी, 'दस हाथ' जगह, 'चार गज' मलमल, 'चार किलो' चावल।

(ii)अनिश्चित परिमाणवाचक :-

)अनिश्चित परिमाणवाचक :- जो विशेषण शब्द किसी वस्तु की निश्चित मात्रा अथवा माप-तौल का बोध नहीं कराते हैं, वे अनिश्चित परिमाणवाचक विशेषण कहलाते है।

जैसे- 'सब' धन, 'कुछ' दूध, 'बहुत' पानी।
