The given equation f(x) = 2x² + 3x -11

i.e., a = 2 , b = 3 , c = -11

Now, The Formula of quadratic equation is used to find the factor is

f(x)  =  \frac{ - b±  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

 =  \frac{ - 3±  \sqrt{ {(3)}^{2}  - 4 \times 2 \times ( - 11)} }{2 \times 2}

 =  \frac{ - 3 ± \sqrt{9 + 88} }{4}

 =   \frac{ - 3 +  \sqrt{97} }{4} or \frac{ - 3 -  \sqrt{97} }{4}

Hope its helpful for you.
