2 {x}^{2}  + 4x + 2

 = 2( {x}^{2}  + 2x + 1)

 = 2( {x}^{2}  + x + x + 1)

 = 2(x(x + 1) + 1(x + 1))

 = 2(x + 1)(x + 1)

Factorise:-

  • 2x²+4x+2
  • 2x²+2x+2x+2
  • 2x(x+1) +2 (x+1)
  • (2x+2)(x+1)

Zeroes :-

2x+2=0

2x= -2

x= -1

and

x+1=0

x= -1

Factorisations:-

  • It is defined as the breaking or decomposition of an entity (for example a number ,matrix or a polynomial) into a product of another entity ,or factors which when multiplied together give the original number or a matrix etc
