Step by step explanation.

2x^2 + 5x -3 =0

2x^2 -x +6x -3 =0

x ( 2x-1) +3 (2x-1) =0

(x+3) (2x-1)=0

X= -3 and 2x=1

X=-3 and x= 1/2

X= ( -3 , 1/2)

I hope it will help:)
