a^4-20a^2+64=>(a^2)^2+8^2-2(8)(a^2)

we know that,

(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

because,when we add 4a^2

(a^2)^2+8^2-20a^2+4a^2=>

(a^2)^2+8^2-16a^2=(a^2)^2+8^2-2(a^2)(8)

=(a^2-8)^2

the factorise factor of a^4-20a^2+64 is 4a^2.

bye,this is helpful to you.
