Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

Given,

1) An expression j² + 4jk + 4k².

Objective:

To factorize the expression.

Solution:

We know that,

(a² + 2ab + b²) = (a+b)²

Then,

(j² + 4jk + 4k²)  =  j² + 2(j)(2k) + (2k)²

⇒ ( j + k)² = (j+k)(j+k).

Therefore the expression is factorized.
