Hey!!!
Let f(x)=x^3 -23x^2 + 142x - 120
Sub x=something first until f(x) =0
For Example -
let x=1,
F (x)=1^3 -23^2 + 142 -120=0
Now you know (x-1) is a factor. Do long division f (x)/ (x-1) get a polynomial and factorise it. You should be able to get (x-1)(x-10)(x-12)
hope you understand..
