x^2 - 7x + 10
= x^2 - 5x - 2x + 10
= x ( x - 5 ) - 2 ( x - 5 )
= ( x - 2 ) ( x - 5 ) [Ans]

Given,
x²-7x+10
= x² - ( 2+5)x + 2*5

Now, It is in the form of x²-(a+b)x+ab = (x-a) (x-b)

So, x² -7x + 10 = (x-2)(x-5)

Also, We have another method ...,

x²-7x+10

=> x²-2x-5x+10
=> x(x-2)-5(x-2)
=> (x-2)(x-5)
