= [(x2)2 + 2x2 + 1] – x2
= [x2 + 1]2 – x2
= [(x2)2 + 2x2 + 1] – x2

= 1 + x^2 + x^2 + x^4
= 1(1 + x^2) + x^2(1 + x^2)
= (1 + x^2)(1 + x^2)
= (1 + x^2)^2
