Solution:-

\tt\longmapsto{} \sf{10x^2 = 2 × 5 × x × x}

\tt\longmapsto{} \sf{18x^2 = 2 × 3 × 3 × x × x × x}

\tt\longmapsto{} \sf{14x^4 = 2 × 7 × x × x × x × x}

★ The common factors of the three terms are 2, x and x.

Therefore,

\sf{10x^2 - 18x^3 + 14x^4}

\sf{= (2 × x × x × 5) - (2 × x × x × 3 × 3 × x) + (2 × x × x × 7 × x × x)}

\sf{2 × x × x ×[(5 - (3 × 3 × x) + (7 × x × x)]}

⠀⠀⠀⠀\boxed{\sf{\purple{(Combining\: the\: three\: terms)}}}

\sf{= 2x^2 × (5 - 9x + 7x^2)}

\sf{= 2x^2 (7x^2 - 9x + 5)}
