First you must group the nos.
(10xy -5y)+(8-16x)
from the nos in the first bracket you will find that5y is common
5y(2x-1)+8(1-2x)
5y(2x-1)-8(2x-1)
(5y -8)(2x-1)

Given,

A linear expression in two variables 10xy -5y +8-16x.

To Find,

The factorized form of this expression.

Solution,

The given expression is

10xy -5y +8-16x

Taking 5y common from first two terms

5y(2x-1)+8-16x

Now, taking -8 common from last two terms

5y(2x-1)-8(2x-1)

Now,

Taking (2x-1) common from the expression

(2x-1)(5y-8)

Hence, the factorized form of this equation is (2x-1)(5y-8).
