12x^2 - 7x+1

=By splitting the middle term,we get

=12x^2 - 3x - 4x + 1

=3x(4x-1)-1(4x-1)

=(3x-1)(4x-1)

Hope it helps.

\implies\small\sf{{12x}^{2}  - 7x + 1}

\implies\small\sf{{12x}^{2}  - 4x - 3x + 1}

\implies\small\sf{3x(4x - 1) - 1(4x - 1)}

\implies\small\sf{(3x - 1)(4x - 1)}
