factorise 15x^2-19x+22

Anonymous: there should be -20 check ur question if there is not - 20 then this would have no real roots
Anonymous: 22*
Shaurya28: it would since 30 and 11 make 19. thus the condition for splitting the middle term is justified and complete
Anonymous: you only need splitting
Shaurya28: when subtracted* 30 and 11 make 19
Anonymous: but this would have no real roots

Equation is
15x^2 - 19x +22
D = b2- 4ac

D = (-19)^2 - 4×15×22
D = 361- 1320.
D will be negative thus it will not have any real roots.

and it can't be factorised since
30 - 11 make +19 and product will be -330.
and 11- 30 makes -19 and product will be again -330.

but it should be positive.

15x2-19x-22

15x²-30x+11x-22

15x(x-2)+11(x-2)

(x-2)(15x+11)
