ANSWER:

  • Factorisation of the above expression = (5y-2)(3x+1)

GIVEN:

  • P(x) = 15xy-6x+5y-2

TO FIND:

= 15xy-6x+5y-2

= (15xy-6x)+(5y-2)

= 3x(5y-2)+1(5y-2)

= (5y-2)(3x+1)

Factorisation of the above expression = (5y-2)(3x+1)

NOTE:

Some important formulas:

(a+b)² = a²+b²+2ab

(a-b)² = a²+b²-2ab

(a+b)(a-b) = a²-b²

(a+b)³ = a³+b³+3ab(a+b)

(a-b)³ = a³-b³-3ab(a-b)

a³+b³ = (a+b)(a²+b²-ab)

a³-b³ = (a-b)(a²+b²+ab)

(a+b)² = (a-b)²+4ab

(a-b)² = (a+b)²-4ab

Solution :-

➦ 15xy -6x + 5y -2

➭( 15xy -6x ) + 5y- 2

➭ 3x (5y - 2) +5y - 2

➭ 3x (5y -2) +1 (5y-2)

➭( 3x +1) (5y-2)

∴ (3x +1) and (5y-2) is the answer of ur question.

Extra Information!!!!!

Some Identities are

(a + b)² = a²+ 2ab + b²

(a – b)² = a² – 2ab + b²

a²– b2 = (a + b)(a – b)

(x + a)(x + b) = x²+ (a + b) x + ab

(a + b + c)² = a²+ b²+ c²+ 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

(a + b)^3 = a^3 + b^3 + 3ab (a + b)

(a – b)^3 = a^3 – b^3 – 3ab (a – b)

a^3 + b^3 + c^3– 3abc = (a + b + c)(a2 + b2 + c2 – ab – bc – ca)
