To Factorise -

 \sf{ 16 { ( x + 3y ) } ^ 2 + 24( x + 3y )( p + q ) + 9 { ( p + q ) }^2 }

Solution -

Let us assume that -

( x + 3y ) = a

( p + q ) = b

So,

 \sf{ 16 { ( x + 3y ) } ^ 2 + 24( x + 3y )( p + q ) + 9 { ( p + q ) }^2 }

This can be simplified :

 \sf{ 16 a^2 + 24ab + 9 b^2 }

This is of the form ( a + b )²

So it can be written as -

 \sf{ { (4a + 3b) } ^ 2 }

Now substituting the values of a -

4 a + 3b

=> 4x + 12y + 3p + 3q

Answer -

 \sf{ { ( 4x + 12y + 3p + 3q )  } ^ 2 }
