Answer:

16x {}^{2}  - 9y {}^{2}

We can write it as

(4x) {}^{2}  - (3y {}^{2} ) {}^{2}  \\  \\

Now by using identity a^2 - b^2 we can write it as

(4x + 3y {}^{2} )(4x - 3y {}^{2} )

What is factorisation?

The process of writing a given polynomial as a product of two or more factors is called factorisation.

Example - factorising 6x^2 + 12x means writing it in the form 6x(x + 2)

Types of factorisation:

There are 8 types of factorisation:

Type 1: Factorising by taking out the common factor

Type 2: Factorising bt grouping the terms

Type 3: Factorising perfect square trinomials

Type 4: Factorising the difference of two squares

Type 5: a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

= (a + b + c)^2

Type 6: Factorising a non perfect square quadratic polynomial x^2 + px + q by splitting the middle term.

Type 7: Factorising ax^2 + bx + c

Type 8: Factorising sum or differences of cubes.
