factorise:24x²-13x-2

24x² – 13x – 2

= 24x² – 16x + 3x – 2

= 8x (3x–2) +1 (3x-2)

= (3x–2) (8x+1)

1.) 3x – 2 = 0

3x = 2

x = 2/3

2.) 8x + 1 = 0

8x = – 1

x = –1/8
