Answer:

given p(x) = 2x² + 9x + 4

SUM = 9

PRODUCT = 8

NUMBERS = 8,1

therefore; 2x² + x + 8x + 4

x (2x + 1) + 4 (2x + 1)

(x+4) (2x + 1)

; x = -4 / x = -½
