Putting the value of x = - 2
We get the p(x) to be zero
So x +2 is factor of p(x)
On dividing p(x) by (x + 2) we get = 2x2 + 3x - 9
2x2 + 3x - 9 = 2x2 + 6x - 3x -9 = 2x( x + 3) - 3(x +3) = ( 2x - 3)(x + 3)
p(x) = (x + 2)(x + 3)(2x -3)
Ans: (x + 2)(x + 3)(2x -3
hope this helps you
