2x^3 - 3x^2 - 17x + 30

= 2x^3 - 4x^2 +x^2 -2x - 15x + 30

=2x^2(x-2) +x(x-2) -15(x-2)

=(x-2)(2x^2 +x -15)

=(x-2)(2x^2 +6x -5x -15)

=(x-2)(2x(x+3) -5(x+3))

=(x-2)(x+3)(2x-5)

2 {x}^{3} - 3 {x}^{2} - 17 + 30 \\ 2 {x}^{3} - 4 {x}^{2} + {x}^{2} - 2x - 15x + 30 \\ 2 {x}^{2} (x - 2) + x(x - 2) - 15(x - 2) \\ (x - 2)(2 {x}^{2} + x - 15) \\ (x - 2)(2 {x}^{2} + 6x - 5x - 15) \\ (x - 2)(2x(x + 3) - 5(x + 3)) \\ (x - 2)(x + 3)(2x - 5)
