2x²-5x/6+1/12
=> making denominator equal ,
=> (24x²-10x+1)/12
=> taking 1/12 common,
1/12(24x²-10x+1)
using splitting the middle term ,
=> 1/12 (24x²-6x-4x+1)
=> 1/12[6x(4x-1)-1(4x-1)]
=> 1/12[(4x-1)(6x-1)]
=> 1/12(4x-1)(6x-1)
hope this helps

2x²-x-1/12+5x/6
2x²- x/6 - 1/12
1/12(24x² - 2x- 1)
1/12 (24x² - 6x + 4x -1)
1/12{ 6x(4x -1) + 1 (4x -1)}
1/12( 4x-1) ( 6x+1)
