Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

2 {x}^{2} - \sqrt{3} x - 3 \\ \\

To find: Factors

Solution:

To factorise the polynomial, split the middle term such that it's addition or subtraction gives middle term itself and multiplication gives -6

2 {x}^{2} - 2 \sqrt{3} x + \sqrt{3}x - 3 \\ \\

As

 - 2 \sqrt{3} + \sqrt{3} = - \sqrt{3} \\ \\ ( - 2 \sqrt{3} )( \sqrt{3} ) = - 2 \times 3 = - 6 \\ \\

Now take common from first two terms and last two terms

2 {x}^{2} - 2 \sqrt{3} x + \sqrt{3}x - \sqrt{3} \times \sqrt{3} \\ \\ 2 x(x -\sqrt{3} ) + \sqrt{3}(x - \sqrt{3} ) \\ \\

take (x-√3) common from both terms

(x - \sqrt{3} )(2x + \sqrt{3}) \\ \\

Thus,factors of

\bold{\green{2 {x}^{2} - \sqrt{3} x - 3 = (2x + \sqrt{3}) (x - \sqrt{3} )}} \\ \\

Hope it helps you.
